Little Ellis Island

Synopsis

Everyday, newly released detainees from the Buffalo Federal Detention Center are dropped off at a Citgo gas station and bus stop in the small town of Batavia, NY. They get no assistance from the U.S. government, but Citgo employee Mahesh Pandya, an Indian immigrant himself, makes sure these immigrants have food, water and a way to get to their families.
