Twenty-two-year-old wheelchair fencer, Victoria “Tori” Isaacson, is on a multi-year journey to the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics; but time is not on her side. Her greatest opponents: a degenerative disease, mounting debt, crushing self-doubt and an unexpected global pandemic. Will her years of athletic discipline arm her as she battles to reshape her future, alongside her coaches and family?

Brett Forrest is a multimedia journalist with a heavy emphasis on documentary filmmaking. Prior to graduate school, Brett was an on-air producer for a nationally syndicated entertainment news show called Daily Blast LIVE, where he earned a national Telly award for his work. Before that, he was a promotions and commercial producer for FOX31 Denver and contributed to the station’s 2017 Emmy for Community Service. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in Film and Anthropology. Brett is an avid mountaineer, snowboarder, and world traveler.

Brian Ryu is a Korean filmmaker and animator whose animations have appeared in The New York Times and The New Yorker. Prior to studying at Columbia University’s J School, and pursuing his undergraduate degree in film production at New York University, he was a United Nations peacekeeper in South Sudan, where he served as an intelligence analyst. His current fascination with sports dates back to his own foray into athletics which includes winning several national championships in speed skating in elementary school. In high school, he transitioned to casual skating and ice hockey. Now, he loves to report on talented athletes.
